What we do
We do most of our investigations in the HRM area, but we have gone farther before. Please call and ask for Rob at 902.422.2497, or email us. We have full liability insurance, and charge nothing for investigations. We are also available for interviews, public speaking, or general inquiries.
Sometimes people contact us with a public or private residence that has had activity, or we will approach a location ourselves. We first discuss the location with all people concerned (owner of the property, people who have had the experience,etc). This entails the history of the location, any unexplainable experiences that may have occurred, and the reasons why the location may be haunted. From this point we conduct any further historical research if possible. We then work out the technicalities of the investigation with everyone involved.
The Investigation
The investigation itself can unfold in many ways. Typically, we document it with photo and video cameras, audio recorders, EMF meter, etc. which we set up for surveillance purposes.
Often, we try to establish some sort of contact with the ghost(s). This would be done through questions and requests in the hopes that something substantial would occur that we could document. Sometimes this happens when we are present, sometimes it happens when a piece of equipment is left recording all by itself. We also take various readings of our environment in hopes that any measured abnormalities may coincide with any odd recorded data.
We do not use Ouija Boards, dowsing rods, or have mediums assist us. We feel that any data obtained through these means would be difficult to gauge and would be insufficient due to the lack of displayed and recordable evidence.
We also do not "clear" or "bust" ghosts from a location. Our goal is to collect data which is unexplainable, and through doing this, we may further understand the yet unsolved phenomena known as "ghosts".
We also want to let any interested parties know that putting findings up on our website is not our first concern. While it would be great to be able to show others our findings, we respect wishes to keep investigations private. We want to stress that we are interested in obtaining evidence of ghosts, and our website is only a means to showcase that which we have full permission to share with the public.
