Anonymous Dartmouth Site
This building was brought to Rob's attention while he was inquiring about another location. Due to the request of anonymity of the location we can only reveal that it was built in 1891 and is located in Dartmouth, N.S.
Experiences
- The man who granted us access to the building had once been in there performing a routine check. He made his way to the attic. For a few minutes, all in the attic was fine. That is until he saw the woman. He described her as being young. She was slightly transparent and somewhat shimmery. He remained in a state of awe as the woman proceeded to rise off of the floor. She then floated across the room where she then stopped and remained in the air. The woman did not float towards him but did keep his gaze. This man told Rob that he did not feel threatened, just unwelcomed.
- On both September 3rd and 4th a metal table was heard being dragged, but was not moved out of place (see investigation).
- When Rob was making his way through the attic entrance (which consisted of a square in the ceiling) he attempted to turn on the lightswitch. It did not work. Upon briefly returning the following day the lightswitch worked fine. Rob checked with the man who had let us in later on. He informed Rob that no one had come in, after we had left the night before, and fixed the light. Electricity also was not turned off to the attic during our previous night's visit.
- A man who had accompanied us that evening was forcibly grabbed by an unseen entity. The man described it as being very strong and could feel it pulling him. He said that the unseen entity was neither cold nor hot to the touch.
Investigations
September 3rd, 2004
Before anyone else arrived, Rob entered the building alone and had a look around. There was no one else there, as he had the only key. Rob left an analog audio recorder there and exited the building. It captured the following voice, as well as many unexplained bangs.
A half hour later, our guest arrived, and they entered the building. As the guest and Rob were making their way upstairs, they heard a metal table move across the floor above them. When they arrived on that floor (one level short of the attic) nothing was out of place. Shortly after this, the others arrived. Our guest and Rob decided that they would venture up into the attic. Neglecting to bring a ladder, they had to create one out of chairs and tables!
Rob attempted to turn on the light switch that was built into the side of the attic entrance (a square cut into the ceiling). The light would not work and Rob just assumed that it was either disconnected or the bulb had burned out. He climbed into the attic, and after looking around, set up his video camera on a tripod. Rob also placed a mini analog recorder on an old table. After everything was in place he began to take pictures with an analog camera as the male guest continued to take pictures with his digital camera.
As they stood near each other, Rob asked him to turn off his flashlight so that he could take a picture. A few moments after Rob took the picture it happened: the man was forcibly grabbed. A moment of silence followed as the confusion set in. Rob thought he had dropped the few items he was holding because he tripped. He thought Rob had grabbed him. This whole incident has been captured on video camera, but at the request of the guest, it cannot be posted on a public forum.
After Rob assured him that it wasn't him, the unknown set in. What had just happened? Something had grabbed him so hard that it left a noticeable mark on his hand. Unfortunately, in all of the confusion, no one thought to take a picture of his hand.

On the afternoon of September 4th, 2004, Tony and Rob decided to briefly visit the building once again before they had to return the key. Nothing occurred while they were in there except for hearing the metal table move again. It should also be noted that the light worked fine when Rob tried the switch again on his way into the attic. During both visits there were no noticeable fluctuations within the environment of the building.

The photo above reveals an anomaly both Grim Undertakings and the good folks down at Econo Color Photography cannot explain. We have ruled out it being a camera strap, for Rob would have had to been holding the strap across the lens in order to take the picture (see comparison photo). The date on the photo also proves that the photo was taken in the same direction as it appears on screen (landscape).
