Anonymous Hospital
An elderly patient had unexpectedly died. Shortly after her death nurses reported seeing the woman. Since her passing, there have been active periods of phenomena, which then become dormant, and then without notice become active again. It is understood that phenomena is now sporadic and ongoing.
Experiences
- A nurse saw her sitting in a chair.
- Two patients, who were not taking any sort of hallucinogenic drugs, awoke to find her in their rooms.
- A large book of medical records somehow managed to dislodge itself and fall off a shelf.
- A nurse had her hair touched.
- Lights turned on by themselves.
- A nurse saw a bathroom light turn on and heard the toilet flush in an unoccupied room. She then witnessed movement under the door as someone shuffled around. This last account resulted in a call to security who could find nothing to explain the incident in the end since all patients were accounted for.
Investigations
Winter, 2006
The location where most of the phenomena occurred is a minimally used ward, so Rob went solo and concentrated his efforts into this section. He used an analog camera and set up a tape recorder for possible EVP. Rob worked with colour, black and white, and infrared film.
Although there were no noticable temperature fluctuations of any kind, some interesting sounds appeared on tape. These included the sounds of the deceased patient's bathroom door opening and closing. Rob did not notice anything out of place when he returned to pick up the recorder from the room.
Information regarding this location is confidential. Reports of phenomena come from reputable sources.
