From what we were able to find out, from the family and the archives, is that the house is 30 years old and it was built as part of a co-op project. To our knowledge no one has ever died in the house.
Experiences
- An adult male was heard "sighing" and on a seperate occasion arguing with another unknown person.
- A young girl has been seen at two different times. She has also been heard laughing.
- "Mama" and a "psst" has been heard.
- Knocking has been heard.
- Electronics have turned themselves on and off.
- A cherry flavored "Chapstick" was suddenly found in the middle of the kitchen floor after it had been missing for a while.
Investigations
July 15, 2009
We were contacted by the owners of a house in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia, about strange occurrences that were happening in their home. On the evening of July 15th, 2009, we went out to the house to see if we could document the reported phenomena.
During the evening, as an experiment, we used a Ouija Board during the investigation since the family owned one and had used it before. We wanted to see if we could record any EVP during the Ouija Board session. Upon review of the audio no EVP was recorded. During our visit nothing out of the ordinary occurred. Upon later review of our data the only odd find of the evening was what sounds like static recorded on our large analog tape recorder. The recording starts out normally so we're not sure yet what could have caused this effect.
Besides this there was nothing else unexplainable recorded on audio or video. Nothing was captured in our pictures and there were no odd fluctuations in our environment. We would like to thank the family of this home for sharing with us their experiences and for inviting us into their home.
